Last weekend we celebrated Jordan's 4th birthday and Jayden's 2nd birthday. Jill & Robbie graciously hosted the event. Here's some photos of the boys on their new bikes and all three kids being silly.

A few weeks ago we went to Vegas and stayed with Nicole, Jeremy & Bailey. Bailey came in our room and put on my high heels. She thought she was "hot stuff".

Newport Beach

Gordon & I took a little vacation to Newport Beach to just relax. We were able to meet up with our good friends, the Wiscombe's and spent an afternoon with them. We walked around Balboa Island and then down to the beach. We couldn't keep Sue out of the water!

Christmas Lights

We had Kayley and Jordan come out for a weekend and they helped us put up our Christmas lights then they helped us make dinner. We enjoyed our time with them and they were a big help.

Cory's Mission

Cory received his mission call to serve in the Uruguay Montevideo West Mission. He was so excited to be able to serve a mission. He had to get his wisdom teeth out, which left him a little swollen! One of the greatest days ever was Aug 23rd when we had our whole family in the temple. We were able to go to General Conference in Oct and Cory's girl friend Jackie Platt went with us and she went with me to "Girl's night" while the guys were at the Priesthood session.

Cory was to report to the MTC in Buenos Aires, Argentina, so we took him to the airport in Las Vegas where he met up with Elder Paul Lopez who was going to the same mission as him and sent him on his way. We are so proud of his decision to serve and we miss him, but wouldn't have him anywhere else.

We decided that our flower bed in front our our big window never looked very good and was too much work to maintain. So this past weekend we went to the nursery, dug up the old plants and replanted new plants and filled in the rest with gravel. We are hoping it will look good and not be a lot of work. I think this is the best our front yard has ever looked!

Father's Day Weedend

Father's Day weekend Jeremy, Nicole & Bailey came up. Jeremy was so kind as to get the new Bose system installed. It was a hot day and he was up in the attic crawling around. He and Cory got it installed though. We were trying to surprise Gordon so Nicole and I talked him into going for a 4-wheeler ride. We took Bailey for a short ride. We tried to put a helmet on her, but it was as big as she is.

Banff & Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies

The day we picked Anthony up at the Mission Home we went to Banff National Park and Lake Louise. The Banff Hotel is in the background of some of our pictures. It looks like a castle. Lake Louise was frozen over and we are standing on the lake.

Gordon, Cory & I went to Calgary to pick up our "missionary". Anthony has spent the past two years there teaching the Chinese people. We were able to visit many of the members there and they were very gracious people. These photos were taken at the mission home. Anthony is with Pres & Sister Priday, his Mission President.
